A film clip from last week. It’s heartening for the Devil Ark keepers to review infrared filming results and see the fruits of their labour – healthy devil joeys with doting mums.  The exact number of joeys arising from this year’s breeding season isn’t yet known, but it is apparent that most reproductively capable females have litters – an early indication that the Devil Ark management model is working.

Richmond College Zoo Keeping students participate in 'weigh and inspect' trapping activities at Devil Ark. The facility provides an on-the-ground conservation breeding facility for a range of educational and research possibilities.
